Unspoken Religion - web religion

For me religion is following of people to a tribe, a community and a thought process. Whats a religion today in Web world? Is religion same or you are following a different tribe and creating new religion. I believe so. We are in the web religion.

Okay before that my idea of religion - religion involves a preacher, a book, following and people. Sorry for rude definition.

So who is the preacher on web ? Everyone.
Whats the book ? Web
People ? All the people who are reading this :)

But religion needs a following? What are people following? Not evolved yet.

Every religion needs time to mature and create a following and web needs time to mature. It might not take more than 100 years but definitely little more than 25 …
